childhood love of drawing, storytelling, and all things japanese.
began studying japanese language summer before freshman year of high school.
self-published first graphic novel during high school.
currently undergrad at new york university, gallatin school of individualized study. concentration related to (1) japanese language and culture, (2) identity, self, and otherness, and (3) storytelling.
began pursing interest in photography summer 2009.
interested in screenwriting, storyboarding, and cinematography.

Wow, it's been too long! I've really let this blog go... well, it only makes sense, since I don't live in Tokyo anymore (at least at the moment).
Well, I hope to revive this blog! I've recently moved to San Francisco, so there's so many new sights I want to photograph.
